GENERAL MANAGER SALES & OPERATIONS – WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Role Highlights:

• Reporting to the Managing Director

• Driving growth in our Waste Management Services business unit by leading the team on initiatives to expand customer portfolio, and deliver predictable and cost efficient services.

• A chance to fully own and build a business from the ground up

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience at a management level and 5+ years working in a strong Business Development role

• University degree from a reputable institution or the equivalent experience in the workforce

• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills

• Ability to analyze barriers to scale and to develop and execute strategies to bridge the barriers

• Previous experience in building a business from scratch or significantly scaling up an existing business

HEAD OF SALES – AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS

Role Highlights:

• Reporting to the Managing Director

• Refine and implement scaling strategy to grow revenue of the company’s agricultural products (targeting 20x growth in 18 months).

• Build sales team and optimize all aspects of sales operations, including customer acquisition, distribution, payment collection, and after-sales service to maximize profitability

Requirements:

• Previous experience in significantly scaling up an existing business

• 5+ years in consultative B2B selling and 3+ years in building and managing sales teams, preferably in direct sales with a clear track record of high performance

• University degree from a reputable institution or the equivalent experience in the workforce, preferably in agriculture-related field

• Aptitude for numbers and data-driven decision-making

• Knowledge of agricultural inputs market for small and medium-scale farmers preferred or ability to learn technical knowledge quickly

• Humility and interest in learning in-depth about a new industry, new product category, new sales process, and everything else that’s needed.

• Willingness to work outside of Nairobi and travel to support the sales team approx. 80% of the time.

• Valid car driver’s license and min. 2 years driving experience
